Do I have to wait until "Open Enrollment" to sign up for private healthcare?
This only applies to Marketplace/ACA/Obamacare plans and Employer sponsored plans. Private plans are available year-round

Am I covered anywhere I go with a private plan?
Yes, you get nationwide coverage, on and off the job. All private plans are on major PPO networks so you aren't limited to coverage in your county/state.
